PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR TEACHERS

Chuck models excellent teaching for teachers of all grade levels and math courses. He explores the beauty of mathematics with humor and fun filled hands-on activities that teachers can use in their classrooms. Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, probability, and statistics are just some of the topics discussed along with problem solving and assessment. Chuck uses his love of recreational math and math magic to give teachers an experience with math like none they have ever had. All workshops are grade level appropriate for the group with which Chuck is working.

STUDENT ASSEMBLIES

Students see Chuck's program as a magic show. However, the emphasis is on the value of learning math to perform the tricks. Chuck shows how he uses math to do his magic. The audience is motivated to become successful with math so they too can do the tricks that are explained. Again the presentations are grade level and ability level appropriate.
